Purpose of processing, categories of data, and legal basis for processing
We process your personal data to create a user account and to verify the validity of your purchased license. In this context, personal data is processed as follows:
- Creation of a user account
- Management of your user account
- Verification of license numbers
For the purposes mentioned above, we process personal data that you have provided yourself or that arises in connection with your employment relationship. This involves the following categories of data:
- First name, last name
- Email address
- IP address
- Customer number
If we have received data from you, we will generally process it only for the purposes for which we received or collected it. Data processing for other purposes will only be considered if the necessary legal requirements pursuant to Art. 6(4) GDPR are met. We will, of course, comply with the information obligations required under Art. 13(3) GDPR and Art. 14(4) GDPR.

Retention periods
Unless an explicit retention period is specified at the time of collection, your personal data will be deleted when it is no longer required to fulfill the purpose of storage and no statutory retention obligations require continued storage.

In cases where you have given your consent for the processing of your personal data, you have the right to revoke that consent at any time with effect for the future. This means that processing carried out on the basis of your consent prior to its revocation remains lawful.
