Cookies

Our website pages utilize so-called cookies in some instances. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Academy Registration

If you register for the Academy using the registration form, the information you provide—including your contact details and any uploaded files—will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your request and for handling any follow-up inquiries. This registration data is automatically deleted after 180 days. We do not share this data with third parties without your consent.

The processing of your data is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a of the GDPR, which you grant by submitting the form and checking the corresponding checkbox.

SSL Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content—such as the inquiries you send to us as the site operator—this website uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock icon displayed in your browser’s address bar. When SSL encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be intercepted or read by third parties.

Objection to Promotional Emails

We hereby object to the use of contact details published in accordance with statutory legal notice requirements (Impressum) for the purpose of sending unsolicited advertising and informational materials. The operators of this website expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of promotional information, such as via spam emails.

Data Collection by Third-Party Providers

YouTube

Our website uses plugins from YouTube, a site operated by Google. The operator of the site is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages that features a YouTube plugin, a connection is established with YouTube’s servers. This informs the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to directly associate your browsing behavior with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Jotform

Our website uses Jotform to process support inquiries. The service provider is Jotform Inc., 4 Embarcadero Center, Suite 780, San Francisco CA 94111. When you access a link from us leading to a Jotform form, a connection is established with Jotform’s servers. The data you enter, along with your IP address, is processed by Jotform acting as our data processor. We use this service to facilitate the simple and rapid processing of support requests. Office Communication: Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams

We use Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams for internal office communication, as well as for telephone and video conferencing. If we record online meetings, we will inform you of this prior to the start of the meeting and—where necessary—request your verbal consent. Should you not wish to be recorded, you may leave the online meeting.

If it becomes necessary to log chat content for the purpose of documenting the results of an online meeting, we will do so.

Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams are services provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations, Ltd. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider for this purpose.

Various types of data are processed when using “Microsoft Teams.” The scope of the data processed depends, in part, on the information you provide prior to or during your participation in an “online meeting.” The following personal data is subject to processing:

  • User details: Display name, email address, profile picture or avatar (optional), preferred language
  • Meeting metadata: e.g., date, time, meeting ID, phone number, location
  • Text, audio, and video data: You may have the option to use the chat function during an online meeting. In this case, the text inputs you provide are processed in order to display them within the online meeting.

To enable the display of video and the playback of audio, data from your device’s microphone and video camera is processed for the duration of the meeting.

You may switch off or mute your camera or microphone yourself at any time via the “Microsoft Teams” applications.

If no contractual relationship exists with you, the legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Art.

Use of the moin.ai Chatbot

On our website, we utilize a chatbot provided by the company knowhere GmbH, Karolinenstraße 9, 20357 Hamburg. The chatbot serves to efficiently handle support inquiries, provide information, and facilitate user communication.

When using the chatbot, the following data is processed:

  • The content of your chat messages
  • Technical data regarding your device (e.g., browser type, operating system)
  • Time and duration of use
  • IP address
  • Cookie and session data, where applicable
  • Technical log data required for the provision of the service

This processing is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in efficient and user-friendly communication. If the chatbot is used for the fulfillment of a contract or to respond to specific inquiries, the processing may additionally be based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

moin.ai processes data exclusively on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. A corresponding contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with the provider. Data is not transferred to third countries unless this is necessary for technical provision or is based on Standard Contractual Clauses.

Matomo Web Analytics

We use the open-source software Matomo for the analysis and statistical evaluation of website usage. No cookies are used for this purpose. The information regarding website usage obtained through Matomo is transmitted exclusively to our servers and aggregated into pseudonymized usage profiles. We use this data to evaluate website usage. The collected data is not shared with third parties.

IP addresses are anonymized (IP masking) so that it is not possible to link them to individual users.

The processing of this data is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR. In doing so, we pursue our legitimate interest in optimizing our website for our external presentation.
