MSR-Electronic and TfK - Technik für Kinder e.V. introduce children to the world of technology in a playful way on the holiday.
The non-profit association TfK implements projects in which children aged 6 to 12 can discover their manual and technical skills and carry out their own experiments. MSR-Electronic has been supporting the organisation for several years and assists it with projects in schools.
Now, for the first time, MSR-Electronic organised a technology day in cooperation with TfK at the company headquarters in Pocking. Together, they guided 25 children through the programme and helped them with hammering, drilling and soldering. The programme took place on the Day of Prayer and Repentance, making it particularly useful for working parents who allow their children to take part in the holiday programme.

A varied programme awaited the children. During a tour of the company, where they were able to get to know the company and its departments better, the robot in production handed out lollies to the children.
After the tour, quiz questions were distributed. Various questions about the company, such as the number of employees, had to be answered in pairs.
The children were then able to give free rein to their creativity and work on construction kits made of wood, brushes and wire and produce the so-called "Bürstenflitzer" and "Wonky Wire" as well as a nail picture with the support of MSR-Electronic and TfK. In between, there were short breaks during which the children could play together and socialise over lunch. After the prize-giving ceremony for the quiz, each child received a certificate of participation and was able to take their self-made kit home with them.
For MSR-Electronic and TfK, it was another successful project with lots of enthusiastic children. "MSR has been supporting the "Technik für Kinder e.V." association for many years. We regularly visit schools and familiarise children with technical professions through practical projects. In this way, the children learn about their technical skills at an early age and can be encouraged," says Harald Schmitt, Managing Director of MSR-Electronic GmbH.
